Ice Station Valencia is home of the Tri-Valley Figure Skating Club. Tri-Valley is a member club of US Figure Skating and the Southern California Interclub Association. Tri-Valley holds numerous test sessions throughout the year and hosts 2 competitions annually.

Ice Station's Skating Academy classes are taught based on the Ice Skating Institute's (ISI) Learn-to-Skate program.  Learn-to-Skate is designed to introduce new students to the sport of ice skating and cultivate a love of skating in a safe and fun environment.  ISI encourages participation in ice skating as a recreational sport.  All Skating Academy students must be a member of ISI.

U.S. Figure Skating is the official governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States, recognized as such by both the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the International Skating Union (ISU). As the governing body, U.S. Figure Skating's mission is to provide programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating.
